Within the framework of the thermodynamics of irreversible processes, two internal variables are chosen: the stress-induced martensite volume fraction and the self-accommodating martensite volume fraction. A special attention is paid to take into account the asymmetry between tension and compression behaviours. %G English %L hal-00662030 %U https://hal.science/hal-00662030 %~ UNIV-BREST %~ INSTITUT-TELECOM %~ ENSTA-BRETAGNE %~ UNIV-TLSE3 %~ CNRS %~ UNIV-FCOMTE %~ UNIV-BM %~ INSA-TOULOUSE %~ ENSMM %~ FEMTO-ST %~ ENSTA-BRETAGNE-LBMS %~ UNIV-BM-THESE %~ ENIB %~ ICA %~ INSA-GROUPE %~ INSTITUTS-TELECOM %~ UNIV-UT3 %~ UT3-INP %~ UT3-TOULOUSEINP
